Spinal fusion surgery attaches two or more vertebrae in your spine permanently to improve stability of the spine, correct a deformity, or reduce pain.

Sometimes, due to various factors, the spaces between the spine narrow, which can cause chronic pain, discomfort, or muscle weakness in the back. Spinal decompression can open up those spaces and relieve painful symptoms.

A lumbar discectomy is used to treat ruptured or herniated discs in the lower back. It can be done in two ways: minimally invasive and open.
