To Our Patients:
As our community faces the mounting healthcare crisis of the COVID 19 pandemic, NewSouth NeuroSpine remains committed to caring for you. We have implemented procedures to minimize your exposure, including expanded telehealth services, screening upon entry to the NewSouth building, increased frequency and intensity of sanitation in all areas of the clinic, as well as distancing within our patient waiting areas.
Current state and federal health authorities have recommended delaying “elective” operations and in-person consultations, both to avoid your exposure to the virus and conserve personal protective equipment (PPE). However, many of you may have problems that require treatment during this time. This could include patients in extreme pain as well as patients with brain tumors, spinal fractures or significant weakness as a result of spinal cord or nerve compression. While working through this troubling time, we will evaluate each patient’s problem individually and will choose the best course of action for you and for the community as a whole. As always, our central goal is to provide you the care that we would want for our own family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this crisis.
